Cut out the photo's.
Then drop in a few drops of the mod podge into the bezel cup.
Pop any bubbles with a pin.
Then drop in the photo.
Fill the top of the photo with more of the mod podge. Note. You can't just print off a photo the color will pick up and mix in with the mod podge and color it.
I then placed it in a bowl I had filled with rice to keep it upright for the next three hours while it dried.
Repeat with the remaining cuff links.
It will start to turn clear as it dries. The bottle said to let it dry for 3 hours. This is about an hour into it.
And then I went to bed. When I woke up in the morning they had formed small bubbles. They aren't completely noticeable but I am a perfectionist and it was kind of frustrating.
And I'm almost embarrassed to post this picture. I did a set of cuff links with pictures of my boys, and in person they are so cool, but in the picture below a ton of bubbles showed up. Which, I will warn you, showed up overnight while I let it dry. So I think next go around I would go with epoxy or Stampin' Up Crystal Effects because I have never had that happen with either of those products while I have used them. But I still like the end result and it really isn't as noticeable in real life as it is in this picture.

I also think he will like this gift, it is so personalized and cute, I love it! Great job Shannon!
That is a really great idea! I have had a TON of practice using Mod Podge dimensional magic(Ruined more projects than I care to admit.) What I found works best is to use regular mod podge to adhere the picture down, then put a coat or two of regular mod podge on top to protect it. Then after that is dried, apply the dimensional magic. I print a lot of stuff myself and the coat of mod podge keeps weird things from happening to the ink. I've never had the micro-bubbles pop up before so maybe that would help.
I'm sure your husband would love them! Makes me wish mine was into wearing cuff links!
These are wonderful! What a great idea! I love personalized things like this.
Love these - I've done them before!
How do you make the picture so small and still so clear? I am a rookie at this stuff!
