So You Think You're Crafty... Do I really? I'm not so sure this week!!!

Organization. Wow. That was so hard for me. A craft. That had to do with organization. Hmmm... Those two just don't go together! But in the end, the very end, I ended up coming up with something I think is fabulous! So I hope you do too!

If you are coming over from So You Think You're Crafty to see what else this Front Door Organizer can do, welcome! I'm so glad you came! If you haven't headed over to So You Think You're Crafty yet, head on over there, and drop me a vote! I'll be so thankful if you do! I'm really excited about the next few weeks of projects!

But now for this one...

First off... as my original idea... The Front Door Organizer...

Complete with three hooks on the bottom to hang your jackets, hats, backpacks or umbrellas.

Three slots for holding your shoes. Each slot can easily fit two pairs of shoes. They are wide and deep. Perfect for kids or adults shoes.

In this top slot, is a pair of mine and my husbands shoes. Mine are shorter than the top so you can't quite see them. Darn.

The sides of each slots have slats that allow the shoes inside to breath. So if they are wet, they won't be for long.

And if they are dripping, there is a slat for that too. In the bottom. So all that drippy-drip can come right through. No puddles in your slots.

I love the Walnut stain and the white wash front. It adds to the distressing and the simple hardware you can see from the front. It gives it that little umph.

And it's great. The perfect size to tuck right behind the front door and out of the way!

Don't have a need for a Front Door Organizer? That's okay... How about you try some of these other fantastic ideas to use this for? This piece really is limitless!

*Storing children's books in a play room
*Hang it in the garage and fill it with those constantly used tools
*In a bathroom to store extra toilet paper, shampoo, or even towels
*In the office to file away papers, or bills, or even colored paper
*Put it in the kitchen and fill it with spices, or noodles, or utensils
*Hang it in the play room and fill it with the Wii remotes and games

The possibilities really are endless!!! And although I won't get kicked off this week! Hurray for dropouts:) Head on over to So You Think You're Crafty and check out the other crafts. Then vote for mine!!! LOL. That is if you think it's the best!
